New Volunteer Training

Follow the instructions below to get started in our program!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a NEW Zoo volunteer! We are excited to have you here. Please follow the steps below to get started.

Here’s what you need to to:

Step 1

  • Read through all steps below before completing the next step

Step 2

  • Visit our Online Training Forum and click “Create Account” to get registered
  • Please DO NOT self-assign any training courses after creating your account. Our volunteer coordinator will assign the required courses AFTER you do step 2 below

Step 3 – IMPORTANT!

  • Email our Volunteer Coordinators to let us know that you have registered and are ready to take the Volunteer Training Courses. We will assign the correct courses soon (usually within 24-48 hours) and you will receive an email alert with a link to get started on the Courses. If you do not send us an email, you will not be assigned the correct courses (out of hundreds you may find in the system!) to take in order to become a Zoo Volunteer.
